Save Money While Shopping Online for Cookware

There are endless opportunities for baking and cooking supplies online.  If you shop online there are a few tricks to saving while you do it that I'd like to share.  Because of health reasons I do not have the option to go shopping very often so I rely on online shopping for the things that are hard to have others pick up for me.  Here are a few things I have discovered that have helped me save while shopping online.

Sign Up for Email Mailing Lists
  • Check your favorite store websites for a place to sign up for their email mailing list.
  • You will receive heads up on sales as well as receive coupons or free shipping codes to use on your orders.
  • Often they will send a % off coupon as soon as you sign up so you can use it on your first order.
Look for Discount Codes
  • Stores often offer discount or free shipping codes.  I love free shipping!
  • Search "store name discount code" or "store name coupon code."
  • Stop by RetailMeNot.com and search there for codes.  Readers share codes they find.

Check for Store Loyalty Plans
  • Look around your favorite store websites and see if they have a store loyalty plan.
  • Many offer discounts or free merchandise after so many purchases.
  • Some (like Amazon) offer charge cards where you can earn free merchandise.
Order thru an Online Cash Back Site
  • Swag Bucks offers points for online shopping (as well as dozens of other activities) which can be turned in for prizes (including Amazon gift cards).
  • Ebates is one of the most well known cash back shopping sites.
    • "Think of Ebates as a local mall with over 1,200 different stores but with one huge difference. Online stores pay Ebates a commission (think of it as a finders' fee) on every sale and they split this amount with the consumer. Each store pays a different commission so users will save different amounts at different stores; users just have to look at the percentage next to the store name to see how much they will save."
      • I do a lot of my shopping online, because I can't get out of the house much.  Ebates is a cash back service for shopping thru their links at my favorite stores.
      • They automatically send me a cash back check quarterly.
      • If you are interested, you can sign up with Ebates thru my link and if you shop, not only will you earn cash back, but I will earn a one-time bonus (I think it is $5).  You can sign up thru this Ebates referral link if you are interested.
Shopping for cooking supplies online can be rewarding if you know how.
